MWACA Partners with Industry Experts to Train Local Chapters | May 2020

MWACA is successful because of the many industry professionals with whom we partner to give our members the best training and resources possible. Our chapters hosted many events across our six states to continue to provide this benefit to our members.

Federated Insurance partnered with many of our chapters to inform them of the risks customer loaner vehicles are and how to establish sound employee driving policies. Those that attended “appreciated the realistic views of customer loaner vehicles” and implemented updated driving policies the next day.

The St. Louis chapter invited Jim Wilson, owner of AutoDynamics, to inform our members of his four-step procedure that greatly helps in the diagnostic process for engine performance for fuel trim. Scott Hagar, owner of Scott’s Auto Service (Troy, Mo.) said, “Each of my techs and I took something of value away from the class, even though we have been doing this for over 60 years combined.”

Bolt On Technology and the Wichita chapter partnered together to learn about the power of digital inspections. Alexander Anuraga, owner of Alexander’s Automotive (Wichita, Kan.) said the training was, “Great information on different formats you can use to communicate with the customer using pictures and videos to show them the value of the repairs.”
